The Covenant Desire:
This is
the second sermon in a five part series on Covenant. The text is taken from Matthew 6:24-34. Below is the second statement
from the General Baptist Church Covenant:
2. That we will follow earnestly after righteousness and true holiness
in the fear and love of God. We will seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, trusting all helpful and needful
things will be added to us; we will seek entire consecration to God; we will live a life of prayer; we will seek the constant
abiding of the Divine Life within us; we will be satisfied only when we have evidence that we please God and are accepted
of Him.

Revival:
Pastor Kris will be in revival at New Harmony GB Church beginning Monday through Saturday night at 7 p.m.
Wednesday
Night:
There will be services Wednesday night at Pleasant Union. The younger kids will be practicing for
their production with Jenny Byrd. If you are interested in attending the revival any night except Wednesday, a van will be
available leaving at 6:30 p.m.
Senior Trip:
The seniors are putting together
a luncheon trip to Patti's Settlement in Grand Rivers, KY for August. Please let Frank and Jane Weaver know what date
will be the most convenient for you. The lunch will cost approximately $20 per person for everything.
Vacation
Bible School Thank You
A big thank you to Deborah Hardison and her staff and all the volunteers which made
Vacation Bible School a big success. We had an average attendance of 106 for the five class nights and nearly 200 here for
the Commencement and Celebration!
