Worship Led by worship leader Deborah Hardison and pianist Rita Crafton,
the musical worship at Pleasant Union is a blend of traditional hymns and contemporary choruses with an emphasis on praise
and glory to God. The choir performs productions annually on Special Sundays including Christmas and Easter, and many individuals
provide special music during worship services. Worship music practice is held each Sunday night at 6:30 p.m. The children at Pleasant Union are encouraged to participate in worship during Route 52 on Wednesday night at 7 p.m.,
led by Jennifer Freeman. With a mixture of fun songs that make you smile to heartwarming praise and worship, the kids of our
church take an active part in the worship service, including in the adult choir.

Sunday School The backbone of a church's maturity is in discipleship,
and Pleasant Union is pleased to offer a Sunday School hour at 10 a.m. each week for the purpose of learning about God and
fellowshipping with God's people. There are 11 Sunday School classes offered for all ages, including six for youth and
children, a college-age class, and four adult classes. For information on Sunday School, please contact superintendent Eddie
Luttrell at 657-8742.

Men's Brotherhood The Men's Brotherhood meets the first Tuesday
night of each month at 7 p.m. and is an outreach ministry focused on local, national and international missions. The MB members
track missions work through voluntary man hours which are reported to the General Baptist Men in Missions. In addition to
the local community outreach, the Men's Brotherhood sponsors the annual Easter Breakfast following sunrise service and
co-sponsors the Christmas Party and banquets for mothers and fathers. For more information on the Men's Brotherhood, please
contact president Frank Weaver at 657-8813.

Women's Ministries The Women's Ministries meets the first Tuesday
night of each month at 7 p.m. and is an outreach ministry focused on local missions projects and international missionary
support. During the meetings, ladies study a series of discipleship books to improve their walk with Christ and role in the
kingdom of God. WM are active in the local church in some of the following areas:

to the individuals in the church and community which have been affected by illness or loss. This ministry provides home-cooked
meals for a number of consecutive days after the family returns home from a hospital stay. - Sunshine Baskets...a ministry
to the individuals in the church and community featuring baskets full of fruit, snacks and other items. - Missionary
Birthdays...WM provides birthday cards to international missionaries in the General Baptist denomination. - International
Missions...WM supports several international missionaries in the General Baptist denomination with financial donations. - Banquets...the ladies of WM champion the work behind the scenes to sponsor dinners and banquets for the church including
mothers and fathers, baby showers, Christmas, Valentine's Day Sweetheart Banquet, the Graduation Recognition and provide
the hard work necessary to prepare facilities for special church events, including the tables and decorations in the fellowship
hall.
